The Pumpkin Patch

My friend Robyn, who came to visit, just sent me some pictures of the kids she took at the pumpkin patch. They turned out soooo cute. We had so much fun picking pumpkins. The kids got to ride on a tractor pulled train and do the T-Rex maze. Of course, Mike and Josh loved that.

Halloween Time

My computer has been acting up so I am late in posting my Halloween pictures. Josh and Mike love trick or treating (what kid wouldn't). Mom on the other hand hates having buckets of candy in her house (because I eat it!!) :) Now, if these costumes look familiar it's because the boys have worn them the last 3 years. . . .now that is getting your money's worth. I also included a picture of our niece, Alexis, who was a ballerina. . . isn't she cute.

Saturday Fun

Life around here has been crazy this week. We moved Brian's sister, Tina, and her family, into their new house. It was a lot of work for them, but now it is over!! YEAH!! And, in our subdivision on Saturday, we had a bike rodeo. Josh and Mike had a lot of fun learning about bike safety and racing. They had activities like a "stopping on a dime" and a paper toss. Josh liked pretending he was a paper boy and in fact, he has a pretty good aim (maybe that should be his summer job someday!!).

Family Fun

This is what we decided to do for Family Home Evening yesterday--carve pumpkins. We got our pumpkins from the Corn Maze/Pumpkin Farm here in Kuna (I forgot to take my camera that night, but my friend who was with us should be sending me some pictures, so then I can put those on my blog too). And then for dessert, we had little individual pumpkin pies--thank goodness for Betty Crocker!!! It was a lot of fun!!!

Just an Update

Well, since not much has been going on at our house, (well, nothing fun anyway) I thought I would send a picture of the boys having an after school snack. Nothin' is better than milk and cookies. This week has been filled with cleaning for me. Now, I know some of you are thinking, Jan, how is that different than any other week, but this week I did fall cleaning. And I am happy to report that after washing walls, windows, kitchen cabinets, and everything else, I only have to clean the carpets and I am finished!!! YEAH!!! And I must say, I am sick of cleaning (I know that is very odd for me!).

Here I am!!!

At the urging of Billie Jo, who wanted to see my pregnant belly, I had Josh (who is 6) take this picture of me this morning. I think he did a great job, especially since it was his first time ever taking a picture!!! I am almost 28 weeks and I can't believe how fast it has gone. Although I am very nervous to have a third child, I also can't wait to get him (we still can't decide on a name) here.

I wish I could have added pictures of my husband's successful elk hunt, but alas, I have none. Now that is not to say that he didn't have opportunity to see and shoot at elk, but the arrow just didn't fly to where it was supposed to. But he did have a lot of fun and saw elk closer than he ever had before. And as they always say, there is always next year.
