Ahhh, Memories!!

So this morning I was doing my hair and I came across a blaring white banana clip--do you all remember those? From like 1988? So I said to myself, why not,a nd I decided to wear it!! I had Josh take pictures and I even included a profile shot, which I hate so you can all see how it looks. I don't think the front and back shots look that bad. So you guys need to leave me a comment and let me know if you think that banana clips could make a come back!!!

First Bites

WHERE'S MY FOOD?

NOT BAD!!!

OOH, OOH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, FOOD!!

GIMME MORE!! GIMME MORE!!!

Well, we have been having a rough time these last two weeks with Luke. He seems to have reverted back to being a newborn. He was waking only once a night to eat and now he wakes up every 2 and 1/2 hours to eat. During the day, he wants to eat every 2 hours. So I thought maybe he was ready for cereal. So last night was our first attempt. He did really well and kept most of it in his mouth!! But I am sorry to report that he did not sleep any better last night!!! :(

Easter Fun!!

Saturday was our subdivisions Easter Egg Hunt. The boys loved searching for all the eggs!! Then we came home and colored our own eggs, which I think the boys loved, but the mom, not so much!! But they turned out beautiful and they tasted even better when we ate them on Sunday!!!

Doin' the Hula Hoop

Well, we were all just sitting around and Lexie brought out this hula hoop. And she couldn't quite get it so Matt decided he could show her how, and then the contest was on--who was going to hula hoop the longest or who would even hula hoop at all. Well a lot of people tried but there was one clear winner-SOPHIE. She is actually the only one who could actually do it!! Sophie, you are a young lady of many talents!!! And thanks to all who tried-now I have GREAT pictures for the calendar!!

In The Swim

I think swimming was our kids favorite part of this vacation. Yeah, they liked sledding and snowmobiling, but they constantly asked, "Is it time to go swimming yet?" Mikey showed a lot of improvement in his swimming and got to the point where he could swim almost from one side of the pool to the other (going the short way)!! Luke loved his first experience in the pool, and he didn't even mind getting splashed by his brothers and cousins. Josh loved using the goggles (thanks Sophie) and going under the water to investigate how the bubbles were coming up in the kids hot tub. Brian and I, of course, loved to relax in the adult hot tub. It was just a lot of fun to be together.

Sun and Snow-A Great Combo!!

We had so much fun at the condo. It has become a tradition for the last few years that Brian and I crash the Butikofer vacation in Island Park. It started when Josh was just 8 months old. I'm not sure that they appreciate it as much as we do, but we love them for putting up with us!! It was a great week for firsts-Luke got to go in the pool for the first time, Lexie drove the snowmobile solo for the first time, and Josh got to enjoy his first time driving our sled!!! We had invited the rest of the family to come up towards the end of the week and were excited when Mom and Tari came up on Thursday. The only stayed for the day, but we packed in all the activities we could!! Mom even got in on the sledding action in her 45 year old snowsuit-she will be forever known as Banana Grandma!!!
