Here I am!!!

At the urging of Billie Jo, who wanted to see my pregnant belly, I had Josh (who is 6) take this picture of me this morning. I think he did a great job, especially since it was his first time ever taking a picture!!! I am almost 28 weeks and I can't believe how fast it has gone. Although I am very nervous to have a third child, I also can't wait to get him (we still can't decide on a name) here.

I wish I could have added pictures of my husband's successful elk hunt, but alas, I have none. Now that is not to say that he didn't have opportunity to see and shoot at elk, but the arrow just didn't fly to where it was supposed to. But he did have a lot of fun and saw elk closer than he ever had before. And as they always say, there is always next year.

The Joys of Boys

So this is what I saw when I told Mikey to go get in the shower last night. He always goes potty before he gets in the shower. When I asked him why he was sitting backwards he said "Because I wanted to." Aren't boys fun!!

Time? What Time?

So what have I been doing with my time, since both boys are in school? Obviously not blogging, but I have been super busy with my church calling--I have been planning a big Enrichment Night and Super Saturday. But I have mananged to work on the baby's room. With a lot of help from my sister-in-law Tina, we completed the crib blanket, a throw pillow (doesn't every baby need one), and liners to go in the baskets that will hold miscellaneous items. I think it is adorable but you can just see for yourself!!!

Empty Nest?

And another one bites the dust and heads off to school. Today is Mikey's first day of pre-school. He was sooooo excited to go. His school is close enough to our house that I could walk him in the stroller to school. When we got close enough that he could see it (which was probably still a 1/4 mile away) he started saying "Goodbye, Mom!!!" So obviously, he didin't have any trouble with me leaving him there. So now you are all wondering "What will Jan do with her new freedom?" Well, I think I will. . . . Wait, what's that? I think I hear my bon-bons calling!!!! Ha! Ha!
