Show Me Those Pearly Whites

After many attempts, I finally got a picture of Luke's new teeth. He has been my worst teether of all the kids, but they finally came in and he is getting used to them. He has already gotten good use out of them too--biting toys, shoes, his crib. So enough of that mushy baby food and on to steak!

School Daze

Ah fall, when the weather gets cooler (it's now 97 degrees here instead of 103) and when school starts once again. And now Josh and Mike are officially both in school. When Josh started kindergarten, I cried, so I feel a little bad that I am not as emotional with Mike. I am excited for him to learn and grow (and I am excited to have a few hours with Luke by myself). So goodbye to boys fighting all day and hello to nap time!!!!

JUST PEACHY!!!!

Don't ya just love canning season? I have to say that the only part I like is when it is all finished and you look at all those jars and say WOW, I did that!! So, on Saturday morning, Tina, Mary (Tina's neighbor), and I went to the church orchard here and picked peaches for 2 hours for them to be able to pick peaches for us, which took another hour. Then we went home and started canning. Only about half of the peaches were ready, so we had to do the rest of them today. So after putting in 2 days, we did 132 jars of peaches--WHEW. . . I'm bushed (no pun intended). Don't ya dig the song?

Little POPEYE

So this picture is dedicated to The Crump family who loving refers to Luke as Popeye. I really don't know why they do. . . . I think its because of his extremely cute baldness. So yesterday, he found Mike's dinosaur excavating hammer and this is the result. I know, I know, he is adorable!!!

Another One Bites The Dust

Well, Josh lost another tooth, but this time it was the good ole' fashioned way. . . ya know, pullin', and twistin' that tooth until it finally pops out. And because Joshua is a LITTLE bit OCD about stuff, he just wouldn't stop messing with it until it came out (and it came out while we were shopping at Lowe's). Ah, youth!!!

Twin Falls Trip

The new temple in Twin Falls has its open house until the end of August so we thought we'd head up there and take a look. It was so beautiful and majestic. And just peaceful to be there. The boys loved all the cool stuff like the "pool"!!!!

Day at the Beach

Sandy beaches, lots of sun, and lots of fun. . . . what could be better? NOTHIN'! We had lots of fun at the Lucky Peak Beach playin'. We were thinking it would be another record 100 degree day, but it only got up to 85, but we made the best of it!!
